Rajasthan ( Literally meaning The Land of Kings )  is a state in northern India is best known for its Palaces , Forts , Havelis, vibrant markets , fairs , festivals, national parks and is perhaps the most visited state in India. Rajsathan with 19 princely independent states each ruled by a local king or Maharaja was also known as Rajputana during the British period in India.

Rajasthan is culturally rich and has artistic and cultural traditions which reflect the ancient Indian way of life.
