Haridwar and Rishikesh , two twin cities , 20 kms apart from each other  in state of Uttarakhand in north India are the holiest and spiritual cities in India. These are the citiies where sacred river Ganges touches the Gangetic plain for the first time after its source at Gomukh in Himalayas. Lot of Hindu pilgrims come to Haridwar to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of the river Ganges to wash away their sins to attain  salvation. It is a city where spirituality is spread every where from streets to ghats to ashrams of Hindu sadhus ( saints / holy man ). Being close to Himalayas, Hindu sadhus have their temples and residence ( Ashrams ) in the vicinity of Haridwar and Rishikesh.  Yoga is an essential part of holistic living of Hindu Sadhus. Yoga is practiced in each and every ashrams. Lot of Yoga learners and practitioners come to Haridwar and Rishikesh to experience this art of well being and holistic living.
